Board signs assessor contract, reappoints visitors committee members and approves payment obligation to consultant

By motion the board signed a service contract with Vanguard Appraisals Inc. to provide services to the Assessor’s office and reappointed Sonia Kistner and Sharon Hessler to four-year terms on the Nemaha County Visitors/Lodging Tax Committee. The motions passed by roll-call vote of the commissioners present.
Separately, the board approved a warrant/claim as an obligation to pay Sycamore Consulting LLC $8,000.00 for the SE PET Region contingent on receipt of NEMA funds. The payment is recorded as an obligation to be paid after the county receives grant funding from the state.
