The student board member reported that Discovery High School has experienced a surge in CTE attendance across cosmetology, building construction, and hospitality programs and that many campus activities, clubs, and sports have resumed. They also highlighted a significant increase in dual-enrollment at Natomas High and the launch of a new web program at Natomas Middle that enabled additional electives and a leadership course.
The student noted upcoming back-to-school nights, thanked counselors and student leaders for easing ninth-grade transitions, and said the districts extracurricular and advisory programs are supporting a strong fall start.
