Trustee Mora asked how the district forms College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) partnerships and whether the board could pursue guaranteed-admission agreements with local California State University campuses. "How is the process of the board entering into a CCAP partnership with the board of a community college district?" Mora asked.
Stephen Fong, who spoke for staff, said the district already has MOUs and partnerships with Los Rios and has used agreements to identify specific courses for students. He said staff bring MOUs to trustees for approval and will continue to seek dual-enrollment opportunities. Staff also said guaranteed CSU admission is an area for exploration but not currently in place; the district has engaged in targeted outreach with some universities and will continue exploring additional higher‑education pathways.
