The superintendent opened the report by reminding the board and public that the district is 58 days away from the Oct. 1 bond referendum and urged community participation and voter turnout.
“We're now just 58 days away from our October 1 bond referendum vote,” the superintendent said, and directed residents to ryanac.org for timelines, videos and financial details. The superintendent also noted a final livestream on Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m., followed by town hall facility tours and referendum hearings during September.
The superintendent framed the bond as the result of years of study and community feedback and said the improvements will serve students, staff and residents. Board action at the meeting included placing ballot wording and public notice for the Oct. 1 special meeting on the consent agenda.
