Trustee Ramon Matchett Jr. reported the village pool is closed for the season during the Aug. 18 meeting. Crew Leader Bob Jenkins told the board the public‑works crew has begun oil‑and‑chip work under MFT funds, painted a crosswalk at the grade school, and replaced batteries and lights on a traffic sign.
Village Administrator Matt Trout said the village has submitted documentation to the insurance company regarding stolen equipment and reviewed the settlement letter.
