Commission approves subdivision allowing one buildable lot on 76-acre tract
Summary

The commission approved petition 26HA7M158 to combine two parcels and create three lots on approximately 76.15 acres along South 250 West. Staff explained that only Lot 1 will be designated buildable while Lots 2 and 3 will remain in agricultural use; TAC and the highway department listed conditions including septic and well permit requirements, showing tile locations on plans, and a 75-foot top-of-bank easement for Brownlee Ditch.
Petitioner Stacy Walton said the plat will allow the client to live on Lot 1 and continue farming the surrounding land. "By approving this, the client is going to be able to live on Lot 1 and farm all around him," Walton said. The board approved the plat with the listed staff conditions and required recording within the timeframe specified by staff.
