Boyceville board approves legal and banking arrangements, selects public depositories

During the annual meeting the board authorized, when needed, an independent hearing officer from the Weld Riley law firm to serve as hearing officer. Trustees also authorized the board to defend or prosecute any action in which the district is implicated and to hire appropriate personnel to carry out such legal work.
The board approved Peoples State Bank, the Local Government Insurance Pool, and the Wisconsin Investment Series Cooperative as public depositories for district funds. Each authorization was moved, seconded and recorded as carried during the Oct. 8 meeting.
