Boyceville trustees review FY 2024–25 fund balances and present balanced 2025–26 budget projection

Nick Kaiser presented the district's budget figures during the budget hearing, reporting fund balances for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025: Fund 10 (General Fund) $3,223,526.46; Fund 50 (Food Service) $66,120.37; and Fund 80 (Community Education) $317,058.90. He told those present the district projects a balanced 2025–26 budget with $10,351,192 in both revenues and expenses and expects total indebtedness to decrease to $17,612,891 by the end of the fiscal year.
Kaiser also provided fiscal context for next year’s budget: the October 1 Department of Revenue equalized value is $611,859,189 and the budget uses $5,914,984 in General Aid for 2025–26. He said the board will set the final 2025–26 budget and levy at the district's Oct. 22, 2025 regular board meeting.
