The Boyceville Community School District Board of Education voted unanimously on Sept. 3 to move the start time of all regular Board meetings and work sessions to 5:00 p.m. Board Member Ben Mrdutt moved the amendment, which was seconded by Board Member Sharon Formoe and carried in a voice vote; the previously advertised 2025 Budget Hearing & Annual Meeting on Oct. 8 will remain at 6:00 p.m.
The motion as read in the minutes said the change would apply to ‘‘all Board of Education Regular Meetings and Work Sessions’’ while preserving the Oct. 8 Annual Meeting time. The action was recorded again during the special meeting portion, and a subsequent adjournment motion passed by roll call: Amber Carlsrud — Yes; Stacy Fetzer — Yes; Sharon Formoe — Yes; Ben Mrdutt — Yes; Jessie Olson — Yes. The board did not tie the change to any immediate operational adjustments; staff will implement the new schedule for future meeting notices and agendas.
