Freeburg police report: K9 'Robi' certified; large meth seizure cited

Police Chief Mike Schutzenhofer updated the board that K9 Robi was certified on Aug. 18 and that, on Aug. 19, the dog located a large amount of methamphetamines during a traffic stop.
"Chief Mike Schutzenhofer said the K9 Dog Robi was certified on the 18th and on the 19th, he located a large amount of methamphetamines during a traffic stop," the minutes state. The chief also summarized 211 calls since the last committee meeting and thanked officers for their work at Homecoming events in extreme heat.
The board received the report; no policy changes or additional funding actions were taken at this meeting.
