At the Legal/Ordinance Committee report, Village Engineer Tim Pruett told the board that bids opened for the sewer project produced a low bidder of $254,750 for sewer lining and $64,380 for manhole lining and that he recommended awarding the low bids.
Trustee Dana Miller moved to accept the low bids for the sewer lining and manhole lining project; Trustee Robert (Bob) Kaiser seconded. The minutes record "All voting aye, motion carried." The board did not specify contractor names in the meeting minutes; engineering staff recommended awarding to the low bidders and trustees approved the committee recommendation.
Engineer Pruett also provided general development updates, including that the Coffee Pot project is progressing; the board scheduled a combined Planning and Zoning meeting for Sept. 9 to continue related zoning matters.
