Commissioners approve roughly $5,241 in additional work for Brownsville cleanup plan

The added field work, lab analyses and reporting increased costs by roughly $5,241.
The board moved and seconded a motion to send written approval to the consultant (Tetra Tech) to fund the additional scope; the motion carried on voice vote. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the scope and referenced prior estimates presented in a work session.
Staff will notify the consultant after the clerk sends written confirmation to proceed with the additional soil boring and monitoring well.
