The Priceville City Council approved a request to install fiber at a city property to enable installation of security cameras. Mayor (speaker 4) presented the item and councilors moved and seconded the motion before approving it.
"I need to, get you guys to approve for me to have flash fiber, installed at the next property. This will allow us to get cameras to put in there so we have some security monitoring over there," Mayor (speaker 4) said. The mayor also announced a Veterans Memorial fundraiser the following evening to help replace three black marble monuments with gray ones, noting the state legislative delegation provided $10,000 toward an estimated $75,000 project.
