Priceville's council approved $9,500 to hire Durbin Leadership to provide leadership training for city employees and separately authorized $1,200 plus travel expenses for officers Farrell, Mattern and Chapman to attend pursuit intervention technique training on Aug. 13 in Northwest Shoals.
"Also, mister May, I'd like to put in for a motion to approve $9,500 to Durbin Leadership for them to come out and provide leadership training for all city employees," Edlund (speaker 2) said when presenting the training request. Mayor (speaker 4) later requested approval of $1,200 plus travel for three officers for an Aug. 13 training; council approved both items in the meeting.
