“This is a pretty expensive lighting upgrade for the project, and they're asking for an exception to heights and setbacks for some of the up to 23 light poles,” Bennett said. Commissioners asked about adjacent neighbors and noted the design appears uniform and better shielded than prior lighting. Because no formal action was required tonight, the commission simply scheduled the public hearing and deferred decision until the hearing record is complete.
