During the consent-agenda portion of the meeting, council reviewed suggested corrections to the July 28 minutes related to MASA ambulatory services eligibility. Staff reported that the original minutes incorrectly stated Medicare and Medicaid eligibility and that after reviewing the video and calling the presenter the minutes were revised to reflect the accurate description: due to federal laws Medicaid is not eligible, and insured individuals with Medicare and uninsured residents have specific opt-in conditions.
A motion was made and seconded to approve Item C (the July 28 minutes) with the corrections; the council voted to approve the minutes as corrected. The amendment was described by the staff member who prepared the revised draft and no further action was required.
