The council voted to adopt the Keene Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Type A and Type B budgets for fiscal years 2026–27 after presentations from Don Martin and staff. The Type A budget included a sales-tax revenue projection of approximately $402,400 and Type B included a mix of community projects such as park improvements, sidewalk engineering work and a phased skate-park plan.
Don Martin reviewed program expenses and capital projects, noting that proceeds from recent land sales temporarily bolstered EDC funds but that several CIP projects are already planned and will use that money. Councilmembers moved and seconded motions to adopt each board’s budget and the measures carried on voice votes.
