Attorney Rahar updated the board that ordinance-violation hearings concerning the Burchi family's container were postponed because the judge scheduled for the matter was unavailable; Rahar said the cases were moved to a February court date. He told trustees the Burchis were notified of the violation and the need to remove the container and to come current on fines.
Clare Duran reminded the board that the Burchis had been told fines would be assessed at $75 per day if they failed to remove the container. Rahar said the village had put the property owners on notice and would proceed with the litigation process if compliance did not follow. The report was informational; no new enforcement vote was recorded at the Jan. 13 meeting.
