The Town of Marlborough convened its 2026 reorganization meeting Jan. 1 at 12:35 p.m., with Supervisor Scott Corcoran presiding. The board unanimously adopted a resolution setting regular Town Board meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month for 2026; if a meeting date falls on a state or federal holiday, the meeting will be held the following Tuesday.
Supervisor Corcoran presented a package of appointments naming board liaisons for departments (police, highway, water & sewer, building, planning) and filling leadership and membership roles on citizen committees including the Conservation Advisory Council, Recreation Committee, Milton Landing Citizens Committee and others. The board approved the designations and appointments unanimously. The meeting record lists specific department heads and town officials by name and the town's official newspaper and banking repository.
