Residents urge attention to zoning process and volunteer ‘Beautification’ efforts

Village President Cecily Kaz and Village Manager Kathy Thake responded and agreed to address his concern.
Marjorie Zander, representing the Kenilworth Council of Garden Clubs (informally "Beautification"), described the group’s purpose and recited a bylaw passage: "to coordinate efforts of the Kenilworth Park District, the Village of Kenilworth and other garden clubs in the area to create and promote civic interest in the beautification of and around the Village of Kenilworth." She said Beautification will attend Park District and Board meetings to encourage collaboration. The Board thanked Ms. Zander for past planter work and acknowledged volunteer contributions.
