Local group seeks help spreading a survey on transportation access for residents with disabilities

Presenters emphasized they were not asking for financial support at this time but asked council members and the public to help spread awareness and share a QR code to the survey; Dr. Winfrey said they had already collected more than 200 responses. Council members asked clarifying questions about current transit service, scheduling priorities for medical runs and limitations on round trips; presenters said the existing taxi/transport service focuses on medical runs and that more data is needed before proposing specific service changes.
Council asked staff to stay engaged and to let the Transportation Equity Project notify the council of findings that may need municipal attention.
