Daina announced a FACT community meeting for Sept. 26 at the fire hall and that the community plan received approval to pursue Firewise designation. Council members also scheduled meet-and-greets with candidates (Amanda Kitchings on Sept. 18 and Marla Keethler in early October) and discussed preparing candidate statements for upcoming reelection efforts.
