Students, staff and athletes recognized; students invite community to Entre Amigas on Nov. 20

San Elizario ISD recognized personnel and student achievements, including Miztli Folklorico and multiple athletic championships; two students invited the community to the 'Entre Amigas' event on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.
The meeting opened with recognitions: Gina Shutt was named for outstanding payroll work; Miztli Folklorico participants were honored for promoting Hispanic heritage; and athletic teams and individuals received awards including bi-district volleyball champions and district cross-country champions and an All-State selection for Antonio Arreola.
Students Ashantee Martinez and Sasha Perez extended a bilingual invitation to the San Elizario High School Spanish Department 'Entre Amigas' event scheduled for Nov. 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The board also recognized teacher and employee of the month honorees for Ann M. Garcia-Enriquez Middle School.
