The Village of Marlborough Board of Trustees voted unanimously Sept. 8 to terminate an inactive healthcare contract that the village said originated Jan. 1, 2011. Attorney Paul Rost notified the board about the inactive agreement and Trustee D. Hollander moved to terminate the contract effective Dec. 31, 2025; Trustee R. Fulton seconded the motion and all four trustees present voted in favor.
Board members noted that termination will trigger a two-year waiting period before the village could reenter that provider’s system. The motion directed that written notice be sent along with a copy of the minutes to the contract counterparty; Attorney Rost will prepare the written notice and next steps for the village to complete the termination.
