Fire Chief Shoemaker outlined several Fire Department capital expenditures and recommended adjustments to the 'Repeaters' line item, and he said the Fire Hall and North Face improvements would require larger discussions about scope and funding. "Some funds from the Repeaters line item could be removed," Shoemaker told the council.
City Manager Cox reported the city is awaiting results on potential funding for the old Power Plant and offered no guarantee of that funding. Public Works Director Grant described the landfill cell project and suggested splitting it into two phases to manage costs and scheduling. Council members did not adopt any changes at the meeting; staff were asked to return with budget implications for the various CIP options.
