Residents seek survey-pin replacement; board waives Sunshine Law fee

At the end of the Nov. 10 meeting, resident N. Von Buren reported a missing survey pin on her property and said a contractor who completed the parking-lot repaving must have removed it; she asked the Village to replace the pin and provided an older survey, saying a new survey would cost about $450.
Resident B. Mohr asked for an explanation of what a Community Improvement District is. Attorney Paul Rost provided an explanation and fielded questions about several local properties, including the security business property, the old Ding Ho restaurant and Mr. DiFranco’s property. Earlier in the meeting the Clerk had presented a Sunshine Law request with a fee-waiver petition; Trustee Boergadine moved to waive the standard records fee and Trustee Doebber seconded, and the motion passed by voice vote. Trustees then approved expenditures as presented and adjourned at 7:37 PM.
