Trustees reported that a litigation case affecting the Village was settled out of court for $90,000, with the Village’s portion of the settlement recorded at $45,000. The settlement was summarized in the work-session notes distributed to the board on Nov. 3 and entered into the Nov. 10 regular meeting record.
Separately, parking-lot repaving work was reported as underway; minutes state the area was dug out and repaved. Resident N. Von Buren later raised that a survey pin on her property went missing and said a contractor who completed the parking lot project may have removed it; she requested replacement and provided an older survey, saying a new survey would cost approximately $450.
