Board waives Community Center fee for Junior Astronaut Camp on May 16

Councilman Appler Jr. moved to waive the fee; Councilwoman Sessa seconded the motion and it passed, 4–0.
Board members briefly discussed confirming that the organization has proper insurance coverage before the event. The foundation is not-for-profit and based in Utah; Alverez noted she is a Marlborough resident and that her children attend Marlboro(u)gh schools.
The waiver covers facility fees only; any other permits, security or event costs were not discussed at the meeting and would be the responsibility of the event organizer.
