Rosemary and Jerry Wein honored as Marlborough Citizens of the Year

The Town Board presented Rosemary and Jerry Wein with Citizens of the Year and Pride of Marlborough awards at its Feb. 23, 2026 workshop meeting.
Councilman Appler Jr. recounted meeting the Weins at Milton Landing and described their role securing grants and coordinating meetings. Supervisor Corcoran read a list of volunteer roles and organizations tied to the couple’s service, including the Milton Train Station Foundation, Sarah Hall Free Library, Milton Landing Committee, Marlboro Milton Lions Club, Marlborough LWRP/Comprehensive Plan advisory work, Arts Mid-Hudson and Wallkill River Center for the Arts.
Rosemary and Jerry Wein accepted the awards and said they were honored to receive them. The board acknowledged the presentation with applause and photos.
