The Town of Marlborough Board voted to authorize payment of $2,901,445.40 at its Feb. 23, 2026 workshop meeting. Councilman Cauchi moved the authorization; Councilman Appler Jr. seconded the motion and it passed, 4–0.
Supervisor Corcoran said the bulk of the abstract included both town and Milton Fire District budgets, additional purchases of road salt and healthcare premiums for town employees. He noted that "the solar panels on the Community Center cost $177,000.00," and that various grants covered most of the expense so the taxpayer share is roughly $24,000.
The board did not take further action beyond the payment authorization. No additional fiscal details or line-item breakdowns were presented during the meeting; those are available in the town accounting records upon request.
