Police Chief Gerald Cocozza told the board the town maintains two municipal parking lots — Western Avenue near Captain Supply and Main Street in Milton near the firehouse — and noted additional off‑street parking during snow emergencies at the Presbyterian Church lot in Marlboro. "The municipal lots are clearly signed as no overnight parking from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.," he said, and described an enforcement plan to address an ongoing issue with residents using the lots for long‑term personal parking; the information will be posted on the town website.
Deputy Town Clerk Danielle Cherubini walked through how residents can sign up for website notifications and explained that Ulster County ended support for the county tax-collection software, requiring towns to adopt their own. She said the town's new software "will allow for taxpayers to look up bills, receipts and additionally give the option to pay online" and noted there are fees for online payments; the board discussed the possibility of acquiring a credit-card machine for the office in the future.
