Commissioners approve grant affidavit, Red Cross space license, asphalt renewals and small line-item transfers

The Comal County Commissioners Court approved a series of administrative and contracting items. The court accepted an affidavit certifying a 2025 grant payment for the Texans Feeding Texans Home Delivered Meals program as authorized by Commissioner's Court Resolution No. 2024-13 (dated Oct. 3, 2024). It also approved a space license agreement allowing the American Red Cross temporary use of a small office in the county's new building at Churchill.
Purchasing presented two first-renewal supplemental agreements to bid 2025-1182 for dense graded hot-mix asphalt: one with Brontex Materials Incorporated and another with Texas Materials Group Incorporated; the court approved both renewals. Separately, juvenile probation requested a small line-item transfer (about $50) to cover a minor difference in outside audit costs and the sheriff's office requested a transfer to fund a second year of a Motorola maintenance/warranty agreement for the Comal County Public Safety Communications System; both transfers were approved by the court.
