Comal County proclaims Feb.14–21, 2026 Entrepreneurship Week

The Comal County Commissioners Court approved a proclamation recognizing Feb. 14–21, 2026 as Entrepreneurship Week in the county, citing entrepreneurship's role in job creation, local economic resilience and workforce development. Commissioner Hogg moved the proclamation; Commissioner Webb seconded and the motion passed.
Mike Crowley of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce thanked the commissioners and highlighted local efforts to support entrepreneurs, including a New Braunfels Youth Collaborative kitchen and a Venture Labs incubator that will allow Comal ISD students to develop small businesses. "Entrepreneurship comes from the people," Crowley said, and he urged continued community support for local startups and programs that help young entrepreneurs.
