During the Oct. 14 meeting, the superintendent reported a range of operational items to the board, including a comparison of 2024–25 STAAR results, staffing needs and upcoming activities.
The superintendent noted the district's 24–25 STAAR results comparison (details were provided in the administrative report) and said the district is advertising an open bus driver position and continuing to recruit substitutes. The report also referenced a playground grant and a greenhouse project, a "team of 8" training, and scheduled Homecoming events: a parade and community pep rally Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., a junior high homecoming game Oct. 24 at 5 p.m., and the high school game and crowning Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. (crowning at 6:30 p.m.).
