The Savoy ISD Board of Trustees voted to increase the district's committed funds to $700,000 for construction, repairs and renovations at the Oct. 14 meeting.
"Motion was made to change Committed Fund to $700,000 for Construction, Repairs, and Renovations," the minutes state. The motion by Bear Reed, seconded by Sandy Petree, "Carried" with four trustees voting in favor and three absent.
The board did not list a project-by-project breakdown during the meeting; the funding designation will appear in the district's financial planning and capital priorities.
