The court approved final plats and replats (including Canyon Ranch Unit 4 and Horseshoe Falls Estates replat to Lot 21R), accepted multiple construction bonds for Veramendi and Mayfair developments, and extended letters of credit for Gatehouse and Canyon Ranch subdivisions to allow ongoing construction to continue. Commissioners also approved a street-name request (Pearson Road) for a private road serving four residences and accepted the 2025 racial-profiling and Chapter 59 asset-forfeiture reports after the auditor's reconciliation.
Procurement and capital actions included authorization to hire BAF Group for commissioning services for the Comal County Mental Health Extended Observation Unit at $50,400 (ARPA interest-earned funds) and selection of HNTB Corporation to lead the road improvement program evaluation (evaluation score 93). Personnel and compliance items included approval of Brett Neely's appointment as a full-time deputy constable for Precinct 1 and acceptance of annual law-enforcement equitable sharing agreements. The court convened an executive session to deliberate a county-judge appointment and returned with no action.
