Comal County commissioners approve $2.13 million in claims and a slate of routine plats and road acceptances

The Comal County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to approve claims totaling $2,127,198.76 for Feb. 5, 2026, including $380,240.72 in electronic funds transfers and $1,746,958.04 in regular claims. "Judge, I move to approve the claims as presented for 02/05/2026. EFTs, $380,240.72. Regular claims for $1,746,958.04 for a total of $2,127,198.76," a commissioner said during the motion.
The court also approved multiple consent items that moved quickly through the agenda. Staff recommended and commissioners approved amendments to plats in Midton Oaks at the Vineyard Unit 30, Canyon Lake Shores Unit 1, Clearwater Estates Unit 1 and Mystic Shores Unit 17 to combine lots and establish replat lots. The court accepted Mayfair (Maytown Drive) into the county road maintenance system after staff said inspections and closeout documents were complete. Motions were moved and seconded and carried without recorded roll-call votes.
