The Great Falls City Commission approved its consent agenda on July 21, which included the July 7 meeting minutes; total expenditures of $6,609,423 for June 11 through July 1 (including $5,166,813 in claims over $25,000); and a School Resource Officer agreement with Great Falls Public Schools for FY2026–27.
The commission also authorized final payments for the Sanitary Sewer Trenchless Rehabilitation Phase 27 Project totaling $820,745 ($812,537.55 to Vortex Services, LLC and $8,207.45 to the State Miscellaneous Tax Fund). Director Melissa Kinzler confirmed stipend proposals included in the FY2027 budget and staff answered a commissioner question about lease terms for a city-owned farm property.
There was one written public comment submitted by resident Al Rollo raising questions about tax-exempt status for a separate agenda item; otherwise no speakers opposed the consent items. Commissioner Rick Tryon moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion carried 5–0.
