Derrell Ferguson called the Silsbee Independent School District Board of Trustees to order at 7:00 p.m. on June 24 and the board completed its annual reorganization shortly after. Trustees selected Ferguson as Board President, Dana Hancock as Vice President and Kenneth Fisher as Board Secretary.
The board paused its regular business to effect the reorganization and reconvened at 7:07 p.m. The roster of trustees present at the meeting was Derrell Ferguson, Dana Hancock, Kenneth Fisher, Kenneth Rulon, Jonta Miller, Jim de Garavilla and Bo Hoffman. No contested votes were recorded for the officer selections.
