The Southwest Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the purchase of "95 Phonics" at a special meeting Dec. 2, 2024. Trustee Ida Sudolcan moved to approve the purchase, Trustee James Gonzalez seconded, and all trustees present voted in favor; the motion carried.
Board President Sylvester Vasquez Jr. called the special meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Trustees Daniel Carrillo, James Gonzalez, Ida Sudolcan and Sylvester Vasquez Jr. were recorded as present; Florinda Bernal, Jose Diaz and James Sullivan Jr. were absent. There were no citizens signed up for public comment. The meeting adjourned at 9:10 a.m.; minutes include a signature line for Uda M. Sudols listed as Presiding Officer/Secretary.
