The board approved a package of capital and maintenance projects at its Nov. 19 meeting, voting unanimously on construction materials testing, architectural services, design development drawings, a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and a roof repair project.
Specifically, trustees approved materials testing for the Juan Alvarado Elementary project, awarded architectural services for a district‑wide fencing project, accepted the design development drawings for additions at Southwest Legacy High School, approved the GMP for Package #1 of the Kriewald Road School of the Arts renovation, and authorized a roof repair at Southwest Legacy High School. Each motion was moved, seconded and recorded as passing by all trustees.
