The Village of Maybrook Board of Trustees voted June 23 to accept a School Resource Officer (SRO) agreement and authorized Mayor Dennis Leahy to sign the document.
Attorney Naughton provided the board with an overview of the SRO agreement. "Motion by Trustee Treco, seconded by Deputy Mayor Woznick for the Board to accept the SRO Agreement and authorize the Mayor to sign," the clerk recorded as the motion and subsequent approval. The motion passed with four ayes and no nays.
No statutory citations or detailed contract terms were read into the record at the meeting. Trustees did not attach conditions to the authorization during the session. The village clerk recorded the vote as 4–0, with Trustee Daryl Capozzoli absent.
