The Salisbury Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously on Aug. 3 to schedule a public hearing for application #2026-0328 (11 Route 7) on Sept. 8, 2026 at 6:45 p.m. via Zoom. The application, filed by applicant Patrick Mulberry for owner Delbert L Auray Jr., requests a special permit to establish a single-family residential use within the Inner Corridor of the Housatonic River Overlay District (Section 402) and the Flood Plain Overlay District (Section 401).
Vice Chair Allen Cockerline made the motion to schedule the hearing; Secretary Bob Riva seconded and the commission recorded a 5-0-0 vote. The hearing will provide an opportunity for public comment and for commission review of site details and any floodplain or river corridor impacts.
