Commission finalizes Brooklyn Fair booth plans, schedules setup for Aug. 26

The Brooklyn Agricultural Commission confirmed plans for the town’s Brooklyn Fair booth during its July 28 meeting, assigning setup tasks and discussing outreach materials. Sandra Brodeur said the commission secured space inside the Better Living Building and set setup for Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 6:00 p.m. Vice Chair Charles Langevin volunteered to bring three tables, two or three chairs and easels; Stan Karro said he would bring a large wooden easel.
Commissioners discussed printed handouts and displays. The Brodeurs volunteered the use of a television for fair displays after the commission noted it had not received a TV in time earlier. Chair Anne Ennis said she would contact USDA and Cabot to request donated handout materials. Commissioners also discussed producing photos or short videos highlighting Bee City, MIMBY Farm and Daigle Farm for display at the fair.
