Board moves 2026–27 meetings to Thursdays; student handbook approval set for May

The board approved a revised 2026–27 calendar that shifts regular Board of Education meetings to Thursdays to accommodate Strategic Planning meetings on Wednesday evenings. Motion to approve the 2026–2027 meeting dates was made by Doug Wiley and seconded by Darren Spiegel; the motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent Dr. Wise also updated the board on the draft Student Handbook and Activities Code Book for SY 26–27; final approval was scheduled for the May meeting. The board instructed administration to finalize handbook edits and circulate materials before the May vote so families have time to review.
