The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners approved multiple finance and administrative items July 15, including payments charged to June 2025 totaling $2,936,126.56 (listed as $603,007.06 in ACH payments and $2,333,119.50 in checks). The board also approved current accounts payable dated 07/08/2025 for $302,811.17.
In other finance and administrative actions the board adopted amendments to the job reclassification procedure policy, authorized a 9-1-1 portable backup system (Meebo kit) not to exceed $7,425 funded from 9-1-1 funds, and approved updates to the phone system software (not to exceed $5,300) and a router upgrade (not to exceed $22,989) with the listed funding sources. Motions were made in finance committee and carried by the board.
The board also moved and approved a court restructuring authorization earlier in the meeting that adjusted FTE listings and updated pay grades for certain court positions.
