The motion to approve the fee schedule was made by Darren Spiegel and seconded by Tiffany Watson; it passed 5–2. Board members Megan DuPass and Doug Wiley voted no. The board did not record additional amendments during the vote.
Board members who supported the measure said the modest increase would help offset costs tied to student transportation and extracurricular participation; dissenting members raised equity concerns that were recorded in the meeting. The approval takes effect for SY 2026–27; the district will publish the final fee schedule on its website and in registration materials.
