Mahwah Planning Board approves bills and minutes, carries CarMax hearing to July 27

Madaio, Esq., by motion of Mr. Ervin and seconded by Ms. Janowski; the roll call recorded 10 ayes. The board also approved the June 1, 2026 minutes on motion by Ms. Janowski and seconded by Mr. Miller (nine aye votes).
Later in the evening, after testimony on the CarMax application, the board agreed to carry the public hearing to the July 27, 2026 meeting. Counsel for the applicant agreed to extend the board’s time to act on the application and to supply any revised plans at least 10 days before the continued hearing. The meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
