Maybrook board reallocates ARPA funds to pay $26,416.50 Landscape Structures invoice

The Village of Maybrook Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Oct. 15 to rescind a prior ARPA allocation intended for replacement of two fire hydrants and to use the ARPA funds to pay an outstanding invoice to Landscape Structures for $26,416.50. Village Clerk David Griffith explained that the board had previously approved $15,000 in ARPA funds for two hydrants, but only one hydrant was replaced and the expense had been charged to the hydrant line rather than ARPA.
Trustee Giannico moved to rescind the hydrant allocation and to approve the $26,416.50 expenditure to Landscape Structures; Deputy Mayor Woznick seconded the motion and it passed 5–0. The minutes do not record additional funding sources or whether the reallocation changes other line items beyond the single invoice payment.
