Maybrook announces autumn yard sale, Trunk-or-Treat, movie night and softball season schedule

Mayor Leahy used the mayor’s report to highlight several upcoming community events. The Maybrook Autumn Community Wide Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Maybrook Women’s Recreation Softball season will continue and is expected to conclude on Oct. 7, weather permitting. Mayor Leahy also reminded residents that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and encouraged display of pink ribbons in support.
The village will host a Trunk or Treat at the Maybrook Senior Center on Saturday, Oct. 25, with trunks open from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a Family Movie Night showing It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and The Nightmare Before Christmas beginning at 5:30 p.m. Residents should contact Clerk/Treasurer David Griffith at dgriffith@villageofmaybrook.com to reserve a trunk spot.
